Oats Halwa


Oats halwa
Ingredients:
oats powder 1cup
milk 1cup
sugar 1cup
cashewnuts 5to6nos
cardamompowder1/2tsp
ghee 3tbs
food colour little
Method:
In akadai put one tsp ghee and fry the cashew nuts and keep it.same kadai put the oats powder and fry slightly and remove it.Boil milk and cool it.Add fried oats powder to the cold milk and cool it.Add fried oats powder to the cold milk and stir well.pour this oats mixture in a thick bottomed vessel and stir continuously.Then add sugar and mix well.stir continuously till well with the oats mixture.Add one or two tsp of ghee and mix well.keep it one medium flame and stir continuously adding little ghee now add then till it leaves the sides of the vessel and become thick.Add cardamom powder and fried cashewnuts and mix well.


Rava kesari
ingredients:
rava 1cup
sugar 3/4cup
water 2cup
ghee 3tsp
cardamom
powder 1/2tsp
cashewnuts 10nos
raisins 10nos
kesari powderapinch
Method:
In a kadai one tsp ghee and fry the cashewnuts and raisins.Remove and keep aside.In the same kadai,put one more teaspoon ghee and fry the rava till light brown.Remove it.
In another thick bottomed vessel put the water and bring to boil.when it starts boiling,add the fried rava and cook till soft.Add sugar and mix well.Add kesari powder and stir well.keep the flame in to low.cook till it thickness .Add remaining ghee,fried cashewnuts and cardamom powde
