Step 1: Soak the Vellai Karamani over night to prepare sundal the next day.Step 2: Wash and clean the soaked beans and cook in water or pressure cook.
Step 3: Decant the water and let stand for a few minutes.
Step 4: Heat up the oil and fry the mustard seeds, urad dhal and chilly.
Step 5: Add the cooked Vellai Karamani, salt, coconut and powdered jaggery and stir well for a few minutes. Serve hot.
